Media-obsessed, the news agenda has played a massive influence throughout my working life. From my first part-time job at the Peterborough Evening Telegraph newspaper and throughout my various roles in traditional and digital PR agencies, I’ve always wanted to be the first in the know about pretty much anything.

The last five years have been agency-side working with clients to develop their online media presence, with the occasional broadcast and print appearances too. This culminated in being shortlisted for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year award.

I’m very interested in the implications of digital PR and link building in delivering tangible results for businesses – with improved SEO at the fore and Impression allows me to put this into practise every day!

Away from my desk / beanbag, I’m a keen poker and racket sports player and have represented Great Britain at Racketlon (worth a Google…) on a number of occasions.
