Our story

Impression was founded in late 2012 by two aspiring digital marketers, Tom and Aaron. At the time, both were working in house for a fast-growth clean-tech business. They searched for an agency partner that could truly integrate into their marketing team, understand their challenges and meet their ambitious growth targets. When they couldn’t find one, they decided to create it.

Today, Impression is a multi-disciplined, multi-award-winning team working with an exciting range of national and global brands. We have a purpose-designed office in our home of Nottingham and, through our office in Borough, a growing London presence.

And we’re not resting yet. Forever curious, we love to challenge expectations, push boundaries and seek out new opportunities. Our aim is to be your trusted agency partner – to deliver measurable results, to explore ways to help your business grow and to guide and support you through the challenges that growth can bring.

Our Future

In the near future, we’re aiming to become a Certified Benefit Corporation, or ‘B Corp’ for short. B Corps balance purpose and profit and are compelled to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.

Some of the ways we’re working towards having a more positive impact include:

  • Building a more inclusive workplace and culture, investing in diversity and inclusion
