DeltaNet International is an industry-leading eLearning provider for organisations in the UK and around the globe, supporting over 30 different languages. Specialists in off the shelf and bespoke compliance, health & safety, and performance management eLearning for businesses, they employed Impression to help them raise their search profile, starting with a major site migration and then moving into an ongoing SEO and digital PR strategy.
DeltaNet International has been working with Impression for a number of years. In 2020, the focus centred on building high-quality links back to the compliance and health and safety sections of their website to support SEO ranking aspirations and key business growth areas.
2020, as we all know, was an extremely challenging year – but by the end of the year we had attained 80 pieces of coverage for the client by employing a fully layered strategy that comprised a wide range of digital PR tactics.
At Impression, we strongly believe in client strategies that have a ‘layered approach‘ to create a natural backlink profile and to maximise the return on investment via multiple strands as opposed to a ‘one campaign at a time’ approach which can create unnatural backlink spikes and unnecessary risk.
For DeltaNet, we harnessed the perfect mix of reactive and proactive PR. We responded to the news and individual journalist requests, dug into some seriously extensive data sets for data driven campaigns and put together a ‘controversial’ visual that received coverage in the Express.
In 2020, we realised that being adaptable and reactive – more than ever before – was integral to PR success. By leveraging this, we were able to receive coverage on the back of a number of news stories, including the news that the Government is planning to scrap unconscious bias training. We also quickly responded to the news of Unilever trialling a four-day working week and continued the conversation by discussing whether it would catch on here in the UK.
The following results have been achieved through a combination of digital PR and SEO:
It’s safe to say that 2020 was a turbulent year, but it was great to have the support and expertise Impression offered and I’m happy to say we’re entering 2021 in a strong position with lots of campaigns planned. We've been working with Impression for a good few years now and the team always exceeds expectations, lending us the experience and practical knowledge we need to meet our ambitious targets.
