Impression team grows by four

This article was updated on: 07.02.2022

We’re really pleased to welcome four new team members to our Nottingham office – say hello to Olivia, Jack, Helen and Larissa!

Jack McShane, Helen Freeman and Larissa Rowan join Impression’s internship/graduate schemes, where they will support the wider account management team to successfully build and manage paid advertising campaigns for a range of clients.

Helen, a PPC executive, said: “I applied to work at Impression because graduate schemes at big companies don’t really interest me as I want to be able to develop my skills as quickly as possible in a very hands-on environment.

“I got talking with Lauren [Wilson] at a careers fair at the university and she actually made me aware of digital marketing for the first time. Working in the PPC team is really interesting because there’s so much opportunity to grow, and learning on the job is a big plus for me. There’s always something new to get your teeth into, and I’ve been able to challenge myself whilst feeling very able to ask questions too.”

Olivia Lowe joins the agency after four years working in the retail sector, working with brands including Topshop, Wallis and Oasis. She most recently worked as a team leader at Outfit in Nottingham, where she oversaw the Topshop brand, including its merchandising, sales performance and store KPIs.

She added: “I decided to apply for Impression because I wanted a change in career path, and I have always had an interest in digital marketing. Impression is such a young, vibrant and unique company and I felt this was something that would really suit me.

“I feel that I have integrated quickly into the company and genuinely enjoy coming to work everyday. Impression is like one big family. I have been providing support with payroll, expenses, invoices etc, and looking for awards we can enter this year as a company and networking events we can attend to boost our profile and increase company growth.”

Impression had success at a number of awards last year, including the Nottingham Post Business Awards and UK Search Awards 2016, where we were shortlisted in the Small SEO Agency and Small Integrated Search Agency categories.

Co-founder Tom Craig said: “We love being based in Nottingham and are very keen to support graduate retention within the city. Through our graduate scheme, we’re able to recruit bright, upcoming talent, who support our experienced account managers. We provide our graduates with a comprehensive two year training plan combined with on-the-job experience.”
