We’re delighted to announce that Impression is a finalist in the Microsoft Advertising Partner Awards! These awards celebrate Microsoft’s Elite and Select partners for the incredible work they’ve done in 2020 across various categories. Entries are submitted by agencies from across the whole of Europe, so to be shortlisted is a huge achievement.
2020 was a challenging year for all and that’s why the theme of this year’s awards, chosen by Microsoft, is “Forward Together.” This focuses on the importance of partnerships and moving forward towards recovery and growth whilst also ensuring we go above and beyond for our clients.
Impression submitted two entries to the Individual and Team Awards category as well as one entry in to the Company Awards category. We’re incredibly proud that all three of our entries have been shortlisted.
Individual & Team Awards
Trailblazer of the Year – James Webster
Our very own James Webster has been nominated to win this award which celebrates an individual who truly champions Microsoft Advertising and drives Microsoft Advertising brand awareness and affinity internally, as well as in the industry.

Community Response Award
This is a new award offering to a partner agency that has provided innovative support or services to the industry or the community this year amidst the challenges of COVID-19.
Throughout the pandemic we’ve done our best to support as many of our clients as possible, in different ways depending on their needs. We’re delighted that this has been recognised. In this particular campaign, we were pleased to successfully manage various paid search accounts for our client throughout the COVID period. We looked to push the right products with the right messaging for a cause which is as important as it always has been, though took a backseat due to the pandemic. Like most Paid Search accounts in most industries, budget was tight and had to be cut so as to preserve continuation of research.
Agency Partner of the Year – UK
This is awarded to a Microsoft agency partner who has shown excellence in partnership with Microsoft Advertising across the board. We’re proud of the strong existing relationship we have built with Microsoft, by developing this, we are able to gain access to the latest insights and beta features available. This allows us to be at the forefront of digital marketing, giving our clients the edge against competitors and opportunity to succeed.
