We are now taking applications for our 2019 graduate schemes in SEO and PPC. Applications will be open until the end of January 2019 for a job starting between June and September. We’re an award-winning digital marketing agency based in the heart of Nottingham’s city centre. Since 2014 we’ve grown from 2 people to over 40 and our team is still growing. We’d love you to be part of it!

We offer graduate schemes and internships in SEO, PPC and business development. You will have the opportunity, depending on your interests and experience, to work in different departments or to specialise in one particular area of digital marketing. Our graduate scheme is designed to suit you.

To make sure that you get the most out of our schemes we will consider each application individually. If you have a preferred department at this point, let us know in the application form. If not, we will make a decision to consider you for roles in SEO or PPC, depending on which one we think you’re most suited to.

Charlie, PPC analyst

After just 3 months working at Impression, I’ve already been given the responsibility of managing 4 different accounts, as well as assisting with several others. Each day is varied and interesting, as the accounts we manage span a whole range of sectors, including fashion, food and fitness. I’ve participated in client meetings and calls, created materials for new business prospects and implemented successful campaigns across Google, Bing and Facebook.

The team at Impression is incredibly supportive and I’ve been provided with an excellent on-the-job training since I started. Outside of work, there’s always opportunities to socialise with colleagues as well, whether you’re into playing football, board games, or just going out for drinks.

Fresh out of university, finding a role that allows you to maintain a work-life balance and develop skills is often considered a myth. Impression has helped me move from student to young professional seamlessly with a whole new set of abilities I would never have achieved otherwise.

Having only had a small amount of digital marketing experience at university, Impression has allowed me to rapidly develop in areas I would not have considered before working here.

All I knew heading to graduation was that typical 9-5 dull office work was not for me. Impression offered a refreshing alternative in which I am learning a lot through hands-on work with a variety of clients.

Since meeting the co-founder of Impression, Aaron, during my first year at Nottingham Trent University, I knew that the organisation and culture itself was a placed I desired to work once graduated.

From my degree and work experience in the digital marketing sector, I knew that I wanted to go down the career path of specialising in search engine optimisation. I’ve been on Impression’s graduate scheme since July 2018, as an SEO Analyst. Impression provides a significant amount of structured training in all aspects of SEO, as well as independent training on other beneficial topics. Other members of the wider Impression team are always happy to help with any issues we may come across, which again has helped my technical knowledge develop significantly.

Impression is a young and interesting SME based in the city centre of Nottingham, with an office I continue to boast about. If you’re looking for a graduate scheme that really focuses on your professional growth, Impression is the place to be.

Greg, PPC executive

Impression attracted me initially for the young, startup vibe it had going for it, and it’s location in my favourite city of Nottingham, but I stayed for the enjoyment I’ve had and the growth I’ve seen both professionally and socially since I started here.

Impression offers so much personal training, support and potential to all of its graduates which really help it stand apart from your run-of-the-mill corporate grad schemes. Working on a large variety of tasks and clients keeps every day interesting, whether it’s marketing puppy accessories on Facebook or planning a multi-channel strategy for a property investment client, the breadth of tasks still stuns me a little from time to time.

Impression also embodies the spirit of “work hard, play hard,” with a large variety of activities outside of work, whether it’s ping pong tournaments in the office, friendly 5-a side football matches, nights in at one of Nottingham’s board game cafes or nights out at one of Nottingham’s more boozy establishments. It’s a great place to work with something for everyone.

In my final year of university I knew what I wanted out of a graduate scheme: regular training to support my personal development, exposure to different roles in the industry and being given responsibility early on. After researching a wide variety of schemes in the digital sector, I realised that a young company like Impression was the perfect choice for me.

Since graduating last summer, I’ve grown enormously in my role as an SEO analyst and am now managing projects and liaising with clients independently. Impression continues to support my development, organising weekly training sessions with industry experts and 121 meetings with my line manager to help me plan my career trajectory.

Impression’s graduate scheme has been everything I could have hoped for. I’ve loved working with other ambitious young professionals and being part of such an exciting and fast-growing company.
