We’re an award-winning digital marketing agency based in the heart of Nottingham’s city centre, and since 2014 we’ve grown from 2 people to over 30 and our team is still growing. We’d love you to be part of it!
We offer graduate schemes and internships in all of our departments. You will have the opportunity, depending on your interests and experience, to work in different departments or to specialise in one particular area of digital marketing. Our graduate scheme is designed to suit you. To make sure that you get the most out of our schemes we will consider each application individually.
Now in its third year, our graduate scheme has been hugely successful and our grads are now integral parts of our award-winning team. We asked them about their experiences as a grad at Impression; here’s what they had to say…
I’ve been on Impression’s grad scheme for over a year now, having been drawn to this exciting, growing company rather than a big, corporate scheme.
I’ve gained skills that I hadn’t even heard of before starting, and I’m being given increasing levels of responsibility and freedom over time. Working at Impression as a grad, my daily job gives me a great balance between learning new things and feeling like I’m contributing more and more to the success of our clients and the business overall.
Ben Garry, English BA Hons July 2016
I always envisaged my very first graduate job as simply a year-long stepping stone to something else, but having been at Impression for over a year, I’ve got no intention to leave any time soon!
I’ve developed my skill set immeasurably since I’ve worked here and am now even getting the chance to manage the accounts I work on which has massively boosted my confidence.
Lauren Capon, English with Creative Writing BA Hons July 2016
I love working in an office which simultaneously fosters growth in knowledge and skill as well as understanding that it can’t be about all work and no play.
I now work in the PPC team full-time and I can honestly say that I really love working with everyone in my team. I knew near to nothing about PPC when I joined and within the space of a couple of months I am already seeing positive and measurable results in the work I am doing as well as moving into a position where I can develop effective strategies to help clients boost their Adwords and Facebook results.
Larissa Rowan, BA English, August 2017
Fresh out of university, finding a role that allows you to maintain a work-life balance and develop skills is often considered a myth. Impression has helped me move from student to young professional seamlessly with a whole new set of abilities I would never have achieved otherwise.
Having only had a small amount of digital marketing experience at university, Impression has allowed me to rapidly develop in areas I would not have considered before working here.
All I knew heading to graduation was that typical 9-5 dull office work was not for me. Impression offered a refreshing alternative in which I am learning a lot through hands-on work with a variety of clients.
George Driscoll, BA English, August 2017
I’ve been on the graduate scheme at Impression for over a year now and I have learnt more in a year than I ever thought I would have to be honest! I now manage a fair few accounts and have had the chance to work with everyone on the SEO team meaning I have learnt so much from so many different people.
I have been to conferences in Leeds and Brighton and attended an awards night in London. I am also now in the Ping Pong league and a part of the Impression training programme – if that isn’t personal development then what is?!
Chloe Fair, German and Philosophy BA Hons July 2016
Aaron is the MD here at Impression, having founded the agency at the age of 22, pretty soon after leaving uni himself. Aaron knows how much graduates have to give and is enthusiastic about investing in graduate recruitment and development. Here, he talks about graduate opportunities at Impression:
