Lauren joined Impression’s experienced team as an SEO Strategist in July 2019 following five years’ experience as an SEO account manager, and then a senior SEO account manager, for another agency.
She started her career in digital marketing in 2011 with an in-house social media internship, followed by roles as a copywriter and website administrator. It wasn’t long before the fast pace and varied project portfolio attracted her to a marketing agency, and she hasn’t looked back since. Her previous roles have given her an understanding and appreciation of all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, development, and design, which she calls on to deliver successful, forward-thinking, strategies for her clients.
Graduating from Nottingham Trent in 2011 with a degree in English and a particular interest in linguistics, it comes as no surprise that copywriting, content ideation and creation, on-page SEO, and keyword research are some of Lauren’s favourite areas of digital marketing. She’s also developed a keen interest in technical SEO and thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to get stuck into a juicy audit. Whenever there’s an opportunity to expand her knowledge and try out new techniques to help her clients achieve organic success, she’ll take it!
Outside of work, you’ll find Lauren in one of three places; poring over a map working out where she’s going to travel to next, eating and drinking her way through the restaurants and bars of Nottingham or watching Netflix thrillers through her fingers on the sofa. She’s also currently working her way through a pretty ambitious “30 before 30” bucket list; next up is learning how to drift a car…
